Started flying in 1972 a standard Rogallo Hanglider. EAA member #99884 and Young Eagle Pilot #04. Volunteered for YE Chairmen Cliff Robertson, General Chuck Yeager and Harrison Ford. Won 3 Best-in-class awards at Oshkosh for restoring a 1946 Ercoupe and won First Place at the National Ercoupe Convention. I have flown antique/classics, warbirds, high performance airplanes, and homebuilt Powered Hanglider. I became knowledgeable in electrical and mechanical processes, tolerances, safety, reliability and quality building and flying RC planes since 1950s. FOR HISTORIANS - Many famous people started out flying in an Ercoupe including John Travolta, Johnny Carson, Sam Walton and Pappy Boyington (Pappy's first GA airplane).

1st International Drone Community Event in USA

  1. I was the Team Leader in Iowa (Each state has a team leader) for International Drone Community (IDC) and I organized the First ever International Drone Community Event that took place 2016 in Cambridge, IA during Skunk River Valley Days.  I held the drone event primarily for local farmers.


  

DroneSharks was created to produce the International Drone Community Event.  Several farmers, Drone Vendors showed up and local and regional Ag Media and the Secretary of Agriculture, Bill Northey.  One drone was sold to a local farmer under the table.  At the time FAA would not allow farmers flying drones without a license.
